To my Young Orthodontic Family,
We are opening the office on May 18, 2020 and our team is so excited to see your smiling faces! The office will be open at a limited capacity in order to keep you and your family safe. My team has been making phone calls to get you or your child’s appointment rescheduled. If you have not heard from us, you can expect a call sometime this week or next. If you don’t hear from us by the end of the next week, please reach out to us as I know we have left a lot of voicemails. Please be patient as we are in the process of rescheduling 8 weeks of appointments, and we are opening at a limited capacity due to social distancing guidelines. Our staff is doing their best to keep the appointments in order and to accommodate everyone the best we can. If your appointment is set for several weeks away, please continue to wear your elastics as this will keep your treatment time on track. The wires can do a lot of work for lengths of time. As always, if you are having an orthodontic emergency or are in discomfort please call so we can see you sooner to get you comfortable.
We will be following strict protocols to ensure the safety of our team and each of you. When you arrive for your appointment, we will ask that you call 480-899-9423 for patient check in and give us a cell phone number that we can reach you on. We will call you to let you know when we are ready for you/your child to come in for your/their appointment. Please arrive with additional health history forms filled out (found on our website under the patient tab https://smilestraight.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Young-Orthodontics-COVID-19.pdf). We will take each patient’s temperature with a touchless infrared thermometer. If patient’s temperature is in normal range, we will allow the appointment to proceed. We will allow only the patient in the office and we ask for family members to wait in the vehicle. After the appointment we will call you to give you an update on their treatment as well as schedule the next appointment.
As always, our sterilization techniques will be up to OSHA standard, and you will notice additional barriers in the front office as well as my back-office team wearing additional PPE. Please tell your children that our extra gowns and shields are to help keep everyone healthy. Our brushing station, coffee bar, waiting room, children’s study/game area will all be closed until further notice. Please have your children clean their braces well prior to coming to their appt.
On a fun note, we are excited to begin our 2nd Annual Summer Vans Design Contest! The Vans design page can be found at the office or on our website https://smilestraight.com/summer-vans-contest/. You can submit your awesome designs at our office during your appointment, email them to Wendy at firstname.lastname@example.org or take a photo and tag us on Instagram or send us a message in Facebook. We will have a weekly raffle for a $25.00 Vans gift card. The grand prize winner will get their design created on a custom pair of Vans! The winner will be announced on July 17th! Everyone who participates will receive a prize.
Please reach out if you have questions for me. I am here to continue to give exceptional orthodontic care to you and your families and I am truly so excited to see everyone’s smiling faces again! I have really missed each of you!
